Please tell us about your business.
It’s an online grocery store. We home deliver all household items.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have a grocery store, but as the pandemic hit the country, it became a challenge to collect orders on WhatsApp. I wanted to start something new that has not been done earlier in my city. So, to overcome the challenge I launched a website and expanded the business into an online retail store.
Where do you see your company in the next 5 years?
Move into B2B are and corporate clients.
What would you like to advise young business owners? Is there any book/reference that you feel budding entrepreneurs should read?
Believe in yourself. Lookout for inspiration around you. Create the solution.
Let us know about your journey and your initial hurdles.
Challenges were at every step. Like Acquiring customers, delivery problems, getting the customers acquainted with online grocery shopping was tough. For me, everything was hit and try which was time consuming.
What could have made your journey a little easier. Is there any service/product or anything else that can make a difference in an entrepreneur’s life?
I could have used a mentor for guiding me through this.
