In Conversation with… Harshit Singh Bhatia, Co- Founder, Reach Decor.

Please help us know you better. (Your background) 

I’m an advocate by profession. I graduated last year and since the pandemic was going all through and everything was closed I thought to do something different. I teamed up with my friend and found Reach Decor. I am a very dynamic person and things easily bore me. So, I just try to keep hogging from one project to another. I’m doing multiple things now like freelance advocacy, running a Decor business, and working on 2 startups. I like to explore things and I guess I still feel that there’s a lot of things to be explored.

Tell us about your business venture. How did it all start? 

Reach decor specializes in designing and manufacturing customized wallpapers and blinds. My friends Karan and Kavita who have been designing wallpapers for more than 5 years are legends in this field already. I am pretty good at networking and marketing and thus we teamed up together to start this venture in February 2021 and it has been a pretty good run.

How has your journey been so far?

My journey with Reach Decor has been pretty amazing. I have learned to deal with various situations and have known better how to deal with people. One positive change which I have seen in myself is that I have been very patient now. I love talking and making new connections and I guess I have been able to channelize my energy into this venture successfully.

You would have faced many challenges as a part of this journey. What motivates you to keep striving?

Yes, definitely. New challenges are coming up on an hourly basis for me. It’s like a roller coaster ride for me. Also, when you deal with a client directly challenges come obviously but it depends on you as to how you deal with them. Reach Decor is like my child and you don’t give up on your child and I guess that’s what motivates me.

How is the competitive scenario in the industry you operate in? 

There is competition in this field too but when it comes to the services we provide we become pretty unique. The type of services we offer at this price point is unimaginable and it’d because of the experience my partners have in this business and that’s why to reach decor being a startup founded 4 months back is already breaking barriers.

The pandemic has affected many businesses. What are the immediate challenges your business faced and how do you plan to overcome them?

Pandemic has affected our business too. When you can’t go out and deliver since everything is closed it hurts. But at the time we utilized this time to build our data and marketing strategies which will help us in long run.

What would be your advice to all the budding entrepreneurs?

1. Do what you love.

2. Trust your ideas.

3. Be patient, things are gonna work out!
